This project, inspired by the artist Enzo Mari, is a study on self-creation and learning through process.
The cubes in chronological order depict the story of my learning process. The first cube ended up taking the longest to make and had the most mistakes. By the third cube, I was able to resolve many of the messy details and produce a clean chair in less than half the time it took me to make the first chair. In the end, this series was really about visualizing the process throughout the project rather than the end product.
Made in order from left to right.
